We are sorry that you have found yourself in the position to surrender an animal. Because we do not have a shelter location, we must be selective of our intakes. Nearly all  pets that enter our Rescue Program are placed into foster homes with families and other pets. We do our best to ensure compatibility and make this a safe experience for all pets and all people alike. Please understand that we while want to help as many animals as possible, we are currently very limited on the amount of space we have to offer.

Due to resource limitations and/or the safety & wellness of our current pets and foster families, we are unable to accept the following cases at this time:​

• Feral cats

• Kittens or puppies 6-weeks of age or under

• Animals with aggression issues

• Animals exhibiting inappropriate elimination​​​​​​

If your surrender application is approved, you must be able to bring your pet and your photo ID to our clinic in Columbus, OH at an agreed upon time. We are not an open-intake rescue and cannot accept unannounced surrenders at any time.
